"Ibn" is a 1987 bay, 98% Crabbet gelding by the Australian Champion Anglo producer, Arabian Park Banner and out of the gorgeous Casheen.  He has been with me since 1991.  In that time he has been a very successful show and dressage horse achieving Australian Top Ten Ridden gelding and Top Ten Novice Dressage at the 1997 Australian Championships, along with wins and placings in both "A" Class shows, Ag shows and dressage competitions over the years.  He has also completed a couple of Endurance training rides with my sister on board.  He is my "Mister Reliable".  After any amount of time off you can saddle him up and just go.  Ibn has a faultless temperament and is very quiet and safe to ride without being boring.  He loves everyone especially if they have a camera pointing in his direction.  He is irreplaceable to me.  One of those once in a lifetime horses.  He is pictured above left at the Australian Championships and right with our one year old son Matthew.      Pedigree

We originally bought "JJ", who is harness and saddle broken, as a nanny for the foals born at Roheryn.  He has provided a steady and stable influence over the years but has now entered a new chapter of his life.  He has now become our daughter Jaime's lead rein pony and is showing how fantastic his temperament really is.  We originally thought he was too nervy for her but he has proven that with a little patience, lots of carrots and some TLC that he is going to be a wonderful pony for her to grow and learn with.  He is really enjoying all the extra attention and now waits at the gate for his turn.  He had not had a saddle on his back or been ridden since we bought him in 2000 but he didn't blink when I saddled him up for the first time in 2005.  This pony has proven that he is worth his weight in gold.

He is now attending pony club in 2008 with Jaime and both of them are learning a lot.  He is still a bit nervous with all the pony club action but with each rally is improving dramatically.  A bit more practice with the games side of things and he will be brilliant!!

JJ now has his own page which is regularly updated with new pics of him and his friends.

The latest addition to the Roheryn family is "Giggles".  He is to be our daughter Jaime's next pony and she is very excited about the prospect of taking him to pony club.

Photos of Giggles will be included shortly.
